How to request a repair – make an appointment
The quickest way to request a repair is to phone the sc4L Helpdesk
Before you call
please have the information below ready, we can then process your repair quickly and efficiently:
- Your name, address and contact details
- Where the repair is located, for example: kitchen, bathroom, outside
- a description of the repair
We will need access to your home to carry out internal repairs, please assist us in this by ensuring someone is available at the appointed time to allow us access. The Advisor who answers your call will record your request, prioritise it, then give you an appointment date and time.
We offer morning, afternoon or early evening appointments
Monday to Friday or (Saturday – mornings only)
We will send you confirmation of your repair by letter, to remind you of the agreed appointment time and date. Of course there will be no written confirmation for Emergency repair appointments. There is no need for an appointment if we do not require access to your home to carry out an external repair.
Keeping you informed
We make every effort to meet all of our appointments but we will let you know in advance if we are unable to keep the agreed times. If you are no longer able to attend an appointment please let us know and we will reschedule your appointment for a more convenient time.
