Following recent demolitions and site clearance in Beeston Hill, work is now starting on the first phase of building 47 new homes, consisting of a mix of 2 and 3 bedroomed, two and three storey homes on Folly Lane, followed by Coupland Place and Malvern Road.
Councillor Gruen said
“2014 is an exciting year for council housing. The new homes that the Housing Regeneration Project will deliver will bring much needed council houses to Beeston Hill and Holbeck. It is part of a bigger project that will see us building almost 1000 new homes in the city in the next three years – the largest growth of council houses in Leeds for a number of decades.”
